Understanding Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners. Cookies help remember your preferences, understand how you use the site, and improve your browsing experience.

Cookies can be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a set period. They may be set by our website (first-party cookies) or by third-party services we use (third-party cookies). Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, and local storage, which serve similar purposes.

How We Use Cookies

Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. They enable basic features such as page navigation, secure areas, and the age verification gate that confirms visitors are 21 or older before accessing poker-related content. Without these cookies, the website cannot operate as intended.

For example, a cookie remembers your age verification confirmation so you do not need to confirm on every visit. These cookies do not collect personal information for marketing purposes.

Functional Cookies

Functional cookies allow the website to remember choices you make and provide enhanced, more personal features. For example, they may remember your preferred language or region, or whether you have dismissed a notification. These cookies help improve your experience when browsing information about our poker room, poker tables, and card lounge.

These cookies may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages.

Analytics Cookies

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously. This helps us improve the site's structure and content, ensuring that information about our offline poker venue, poker experience, and dining options is easy to find.

All data collected is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors.

Marketing Cookies

Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user. We may use these cookies to promote our poker venue and restaurant to people who have shown interest in offline poker or dining experiences.

You can opt out of marketing cookies through your browser settings or our consent tool.

Consent Tool

When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie Settings link in the footer of our website. Essential cookies, such as those for the age gate, cannot be disabled as they are required for the site to function.

The consent banner appears on first visit and remembers your choice for 365 days. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or using the settings link.

Third-Party Services

Some cookies on our website may be set by third-party services that we use to enhance functionality or analyze traffic. For example, we may use an analytics service to understand how visitors use our site, which may set its own cookies. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, and we encourage you to review them.

We do not control the cookies set by third parties. Third-party cookies may be used for analytics or embedded content. You can block third-party cookies through your browser settings.
